Time Requirements

Phlebotomy training

  • 6-week hands-on training at CityLink Center, Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm
  • 3-week internship in a medical setting following the completion of the training

Medical Assistant training

  • 16-week hands-on training at CityLink Center, Monday’s and Tuesday’s, 8am-4:30pm
  • 3-week internship in a medical setting following the

Patient Care Assistant Training

  • 3-week hands-on training at CityLink Center, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
  • Employment opportunity with UC Health upon program completion

Eligibility*

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Pass academic aptitude assessment in both reading and math
  • No felonies or misdemeanors

*Medical Assistant Training requires prior experience in the medical field

Goal Session
At your first appointment, you’ll meet with your Service Coordinator to discuss and create your goals. From there, you will get enrolled in the relevant services to help you meet those goals!
