We believe that God loves us and has invited us to share with Him openly our fears and burdens. Whether our trials feel overwhelming, or so small that we’re embarrassed we feel stressed by them, He cares for us. The Bible, in 1 Peter 5:7, says: “Give all your worries and cares to God, because he cares for you.” We do this simply by talking with God. Or, said another way, through prayer.

Jesus cares for you and has invited you into a relationship with Him. Like in any healthy relationship, communication is critical. Jesus has opened the door and encourages us to be honest and transparent with him. Prayer is a way we can share the good and the bad, and everything in between with God.

Learn More about Prayer

Prayer can be confusing. Prayer is more than just putting the right words together. It’s about having a relationship with God. Crossroads Church has put together a study that tackles some of the preconceived notions you might have about prayer and provides you with challenges to take you deeper into your prayer or help you get started.

Join us for Prayer

Prayer is something you can do on your own, anywhere, at any time. But there is encouragement and power found in community. Every Wednesday at 12pm, Pastor Jim Strayhorn will be leading prayer on Zoom. We would love to have you join us. You’re welcome to share requests, participate, or simply listen (no worries at all if you’d prefer to keep your video and mic off)!

Dive Deeper into The Bible

Pastor Jim Strayhorn will be leading a four-part Bible study on the book of Daniel called, Thriving In Babylon. The study is designed for individuals who are seeking to follow the call and example of Christ found in the Bible, and find themselves confused, distracted, or discouraged in a world that often mocks and attacks Christian beliefs.

Whether that resonates with where you are, or you’re simply curious about what the Bible has to say, we’d love to have you join! You’re welcome to hop into any or all of the meetings. All meetings will end promptly at 12:45pm.

Tuesdays, 12:00 – 12:45pm

  • Week 1: 11/17/2020
  • Week 2: 11/24/2020
