On September 10th, CityLink hosted the third of a four-part speaking series titled The Road I’ve Traveled, featuring WLWT’s Courtis Fuller and CityLink’s recent construction graduates, Rico and Rebecca

To a room full of CityLink clients, Courtis opened by sharing how unlikely a possibility a career in broadcasting would have sounded to him as a kid due to the challenges he faced. Through setbacks and discouragement, as well as immense success in his career, Courtis confessed, “I would have been entirely and utterly lost in life if I didn’t have my faith in God guiding me. He has to be first in all things.”

After sharing a bit of his story, Courtis invited Cornerstone Construction graduates, Rico and Rebecca, to the stage to be interviewed. Rico and Rebecca shared openly about the low points in their lives, feeling aimless and depressed, unsure of and unmotivated to take the next step. Through God’s work in their lives, in the provision of a community, work, and a calling, both we’re happy to share they’ve never felt more at peace and thankful. Both are employed at A&A Wall Systems where they are thrilled to be in jobs where they are always learning new skills.

Thank you Courtis, Rico, and Rebecca for sharing your story and giving God glory for the work he is doing in your lives.
